Triad Guaranty Inc. (“TGI”) was formed in 1993 as the parent company of Triad Guaranty Insurance Corporation, an Illinois-domiciled private mortgage insurance company with its home office in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Triad Guaranty Insurance Corporation ceased issuing commitments for new business on July 15, 2008 and entered into voluntary run-off.

TGI has been recapitalized by a group of institutional investors as a holding company and is now seeking US-based investment opportunities.
